Craigentinny Open Day: Wednesday 30th October 2019

Open Day

On the Wednesday 30th of October we opened our doors for our annual open day for prospective Primary One parents who are considering joining us in 2020.  This day is traditionally led by the Senior Leadership Team.  However, this year the responsibility was passed on to one of our fabulous Primary Seven classes for the first time.

This involved Primary 7A becoming official tour guides for the school.  The children discussed in pairs and trios all the information that they felt new parents would want to know about the school and planned which areas they would need to see.  They also added some personal details about their experiences, highlights and general informal, inside information for new families.

All children involved in this took on their role with great enthusiasm and displayed a responsible and mature attitude to representing the school at such an important event.

We are delighted to say that this was a great success and we were very proud of how the children conducted themselves on the day.  The feedback from our visitors was brilliant!
